Privacy & data
In force from 12 October 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Vital Body Rhythm Sleep ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through vitalbodyrhythmsleep.site. It applies to information you provide directly and to data collected automatically when you use the site.
We keep the policy short on purpose. Every point below says what we collect, why we need it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to change or remove it. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in plain words.
What sits where
Two data types, two purposes, one rule that does not move. The full detail follows below.
What you hand us
- Your name Form only
- Email address Form only
- Message you write Form only
- Optional phone number If you add it
What the site records
- Browser type Automatic
- Approximate area from IP Automatic
- Pages you opened Automatic
- Time of your visit Automatic
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data to anyone.
- We do not profile you or score your health from site visits.
- We do not run automated decisions on your enquiry.
- We do not ask for payment card details on this site.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide through our contact form, which may include your name, email address, and the content of your message. If you choose to add a phone number, we hold that too. Nothing in the form is used to build a profile of you — it is read by the person answering your enquiry.
We also collect limited technical data automatically. That includes browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you visited, and the time of your visit. This data is statistical. It tells us which pages get read and which get skipped, and it helps us keep the site running.
2. How we use your information
We use contact form data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to inform future editorial content. If several readers ask about the same subject — family meals, iron in the diet, winding down before bed — that tells us what to write about next. Your name is never attached to that decision.
We use technical data to operate the site, understand which pages are useful, and maintain security. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not run your enquiry through any scoring or sorting tool.
3. Legal basis and consent
We process personal data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form, and on the basis of legitimate interest for site operation and security. Consent is the reason we may write back to you; legitimate interest is the reason the site can stay online and block abuse.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing it stops future use — it does not undo anything that happened while consent was in place. Write to us using the details on the contact page and we will confirm what we have done.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the site, such as hosting and email providers, and where required by law or a valid legal request. Those providers only see what their job needs — a hosting provider does not read your message.
If a legal request reaches us, we check it before we act. Where we are allowed to tell you, we will say that a request was made.
Storing, cookies, and safeguards
Five rules, one per line
- 5. Retention Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. You may request earlier deletion at any time and we will action it.
- 6. Cookies The site uses cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and clearing them removes anything already stored on your device. Blocking cookies may stop a few convenience features from working.
- 7. Children This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.
- 8. Security We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. If we ever learn of a problem affecting your data, we will tell you what we know and what we are doing.
- 9. Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, and material changes will be reflected here. The date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading.
10. Making a request
A clear request gets a clear answer. Say what you want done and how you would like us to reply.
-
Write from the email address you used when contacting us, so we can match your request to the right record. If you used a different address, tell us which one.
-
State plainly whether you want a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or an objection to a specific use. One request is enough — you do not need to send four.
-
Allow us time to check our records. We work during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If we need anything else from you, we will ask once.

Questions we get
Short answers to the privacy questions readers ask most often. The sections above carry the full wording.
Do you use my message to write future articles?
Only in the sense that a repeated theme tells us what readers want covered. We look at subjects, not names, and never quote an enquiry without asking you first.
Who can read what I send through the form?
The person handling enquiries, plus the email provider that carries the message. Hosting and email providers help us run the site but do not read messages for any other purpose.
How do I get my data deleted?
Write to us and ask. There is no form to fill in and no fee. We confirm once the record has been removed, or explain why a piece of it has to stay.
Does this site collect health information about me?
No. The site publishes general guidance on eating, sleep, and daily habits. It does not collect medical records, and anything you volunteer in a message is treated as correspondence you chose to send.
Ask us anything about your data.
The policy above sets out what we hold and why. If you want a copy, a correction, or a deletion, one message is enough — and if you would rather read how cookies work here first, that page covers it line by line.
